The current challenges for us all mean that we need to be clear about our position at Chapelfield. We are not due to open until August 2020, when the situation will have hopefully improved, but for the time being we will not take any more bookings until we are more certain that we will be able to open Chapelfield. We’ll review this position on a regular basis and post updates both here and on our Facebook page. In the meanwhile both of us hope you, your families and friends remain safe and well.
How to find us by road:
From the M27 Motorway turn off at Junction 1 (Signpost The New Forest and Lyndhurst A337).
At the Roundabout at the end of the sliproad take the third exit towards Brook Bramshaw and Fordingbridge B3079
After just over 1 mile bear left towards Fordingbridge B3078
After 7 miles you will pass the Fighting Cocks Pub on your right and then Turn Right at the next junction (there’s a small signpost for Woodgreen)
Chapelfield is about 300m on the Left Hand side
From the A338 (which is the Salisbury to Ringwood road) turn off on the B3078 towards Godshill (there are also brown road signs for Sandy Balls)
After about 1 mile go past the entrance to Sandy Balls and shortly after the second traffic calming island (just before the Fighting Cocks Pub) Turn Left at the junction (there’s a small signpost for Woodgreen)
Chapelfield is about 300m on the Left Hand side

Terms and Conditions.
We reserve the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time and they are binding upon all clients of Chapelfield Camping.
Please do read these Terms and Conditions before you decide to book with us.
Opening Dates for 2020:
We are open from Wednesday 5th August until Tuesday 1st September.
You are welcome to book at any time by using the online booking platform – which you can find here: book now
Alternatively you can also phone or email us to discuss your requirements and we can make the booking for you.
Once you have made your booking we will send you a confirmation and you should check it as it is the basis of our contract with you.
If you see any mistakes in our confirmation please contact us straight away and we will do our best to make the changes you require.
You can book with us for any duration except for the bank holiday weekend (Friday 23rd until Monday 26th August).
For this bank holiday weekend you will need to book for a minimum of three nights (Friday 23rd through to Sunday 25th).
We welcome all tents as well as trailer tents, camper vans and motorhomes and your booking needs to correctly specify which of these you will be using.
Please note that there are no electric hook-ups at Chapelfield.
Unfortunately we are also unable to provide wheelchair access shower or toilet facilities.
We will do our best to accommodate any changes that you wish to subsequently make to your booking but cannot guarantee that we will always be able to provide this flexibility.
At the time of making a booking you will be required to pay your Total Cost.
We operate a simple cancellation policy:
If you cancel your booking at least 28 days before your arrival date then we will refund 50% of your Total Cost.
Arrivals and Departures:
You may arrive at Chapelfield from any time between 12.00 and 21.00 on your due arrival date. Someone will always be at Chapelfield to welcome you.
We would appreciate it if you could tell us your approximate arrival time in the notes section when making the booking.
We ask you to depart by 11.00 on your departure date.
We are sorry but we do not offer refunds if you decide to depart sooner than your due departure date.
We provide designated pitches which will be approximately 10m squared.
We have an area set aside for singles and couples (best for adults only) whilst the remainder of the pitches are for families.
We will accept a maximum of 6 people on each family pitch (of whom a maximum of 3 may be adults).
We will also accept bookings that require up to 3 pitches (i.e. up to a maximum of 9 adults) and will do our best to allocate adjoining pitches for these groups.
Due to the peaceful nature of Chapelfield we do not accept larger groups of adults or stag and hen parties.
Each pitch will have space for one vehicle and there will be some space elsewhere in Chapelfield to park additional vehicles.
If you use an area that is larger than your pitch then we may charge you for the additional pitch space that you are occupying.
Dogs are welcome provided that they are well-behaved and on a lead at all times. Dogs may not be left alone at any time. All owners must take responsibility for all of their dog’s activities including leaving Chapelfield in a good clean state!
Camper Vans and Motorhomes:
We are happy to accommodate both campervans and motorhomes either of which may also have awnings so long as they fit within our designated pitches.
We do not charge a supplementary amount for campervans and motorhomes.
We are not permitted to have caravans at Chapelfield.
Behaviour and Noise:
The use of foul language, threatening behaviour or vandalism will not be tolerated at Chapelfield.
There is a no music or radio policy at Chapelfield so as to maintain a peaceful place for all of our guests.
We also operate a quiet policy after 23.00 each evening.
Any infringement of these rules may result in all members of a party being required to leave immediately. No refund will be given.
Fires are only allowed in fire pits.
We will have fire pits / barbecues available for hire as well as logs and charcoal.
We ask you to let us know if you wish to hire a fire pit in the notes section when making your booking.
Agreement to these Terms and Conditions (T&C):
In making your booking you are agreeing to these T&C.
Any person in breach of these T&C may be asked to leave Chapelfield with no refund.
We are entitled to refuse admission if we think it is necessary.
We also reserve the right to alter your pitch allocation should the weather have caused the ground to be unsuitable for your unit.
If events outside of our control prevent us from being able to fulfil your booking at Chapelfield then we will do our best to offer you alternative dates or a refund.
Opening Dates for 2019:
We are open from Wednesday 31stJuly until Monday 26thAugust.
Nothing in this section limits or attempts to limit our liability for:
Subject to the matters detailed above, if we fail to comply with these Terms, we shall not be responsible for any losses that you suffer as a result, except for those losses which we could reasonably foresee would result from our failure to comply with these Terms.
In addition to the above, we shall not be responsible for any:
Our maximum liability shall be no more than to refund the amount paid by you for the holiday.
As our site is located in the forest environment, we do not accept responsibility for any damage, injury or inconvenience caused by plants or wildlife.
Chapelfield Camping do not accept responsibility for anything that adversely affects your holiday that is outside of our control. These circumstances are known as ‘Force Majeure’ events and are circumstances that Chapelfield Camping could not, even with due care, have foreseen or avoided. Such circumstances include (but are not limited to) war, civil unrest, industrial action, terrorist activity, natural disaster, fire, adverse weather conditions, foot and mouth disease and all other similar events outside of our control. Chapelfield Camping will endeavour to manage any problems caused as a result of a Force Majeure event but shall be under no obligation to do so and shall not be liable to you for any losses caused by a Force Majeure event.
Chapelfield Camping does make use of some third-party services such as Google Analytics. Cookies associated with Google Analytics are classed as “non-essential” cookies of which we have limited control over.
We use Google Analytics to count the number of people who use the site and to analyse how they use it. We do this to make sure that our site is working effectively. You can opt out of Google Analytics here.

Where your data is shared with third parties, we will seek to share the minimum amount necessary.
We may store data collected by the website manually or electronically. The data is stored on our secure servers and/or in our premises within the UK.
